Cornerstone Lutheran School has received a $1000 grant from the Mankato Clinic Foundation to be used for purchasing an automated external defibrillator for their middle school campus at 110 N. 6th Street in Mankato.

“We are very grateful to the Mankato Clinic Foundation for this gift,” stated Principal Tom Hunter.  “An automated external defibrillator is something you hope and pray will never be needed, but it is comforting to know that this potentially life-saving piece of equipment will be available to our students, employees and others who use the facility.”

Cornerstone Lutheran School is built on Christ and the truths of God’s Word.  It is committed to serving the students of the Mankato area with an education that lays a foundation for the future, here on earth and forever after in heaven.  It was previously known as Mt. Olive Lutheran School, which was established in 1945.

The Mankato Clinic Foundation provides grants to organizations and initiatives that promote and improve health and wellness in the communities the clinic serves. The Mankato Clinic Foundation is proud to support these organizations. The physicians at the Mankato Clinic provide the majority of the Foundation funding as a means to give back to the community and support organizations that strive to improve health and wellness. Grants are awarded on a quarterly basis and are considered through the application process. Applications are available at www.mankatoclinic.com.
